Itinerary
4 Days / 3 Nights from Aswan to Luxor
Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan
- Upon arrival in Aswan, our English-speaking representative will meet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in is before 12:00 PM. Enjoy lunch on board, then explore the High Dam, built by President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. Next, sail by motorboat to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis during the Graeco-Roman era. Finish the day at the Unfinished Obelisk, carved from red granite and dedicated to Amun Ra. Return to your ship for dinner and overnight stay.
Tip: If your flight arrives early, the tour can start immediately to maximize your time in Aswan.
Day 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu
Day 3: Luxor West Bank - Luxor
- After breakfast, discover the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of ancient Pharaohs, the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the monumental Colossi of Memnon. Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor
- Arrive at Luxor Airport or train station and transfer to your Nile cruise. Embarkation before 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, explore the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built, dedicated to Amun Ra. Continue to the Temple of Luxor, built by the kings of the 12th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II. Evening folkloric show onboard, dinner, and overnight in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu

Day 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Sail to Aswan

Return to the ship for lunch while cruising to Kom Ombo, exploring the temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Day 4: Aswan City Tour - Aswan
- Explore Aswan with an expert Egyptologist guide. Visit the High Dam, Temple of Philae on Agilika Island, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Lunch is served on board, with afternoon tea and leisure time. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 5: Disembarkation from cruise - Departure to Cairo
- After breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan Airport or train station. Optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples by private coach or domestic flight: visit the Great Temple of Ramses II and the smaller temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan and transfer to your hotel or onward flight
