Itinerary

4 Days / 3 Nights Aswan / Luxor 

Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan 
  • Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be warmly welcomed by our English-speaking representative and transferred by private air-conditioned van to your luxurious Nile cruise ship. Check-in is available before 12:00 PM. You will start your journey with a delicious lunch on board.
  • After lunch, you will be taken to visit the Aswan High Dam, built in 1960 under the leadership of President Gamal Abdel Nasser to protect Egypt from the Nile’s annual flooding. Next, enjoy a scenic motorboat ride on the Nile to the Temple of Philae, constructed during the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis.
  • Finally, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, carved from red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After completing your tour, you will return to your cruise ship. In the evening, you are free to enjoy leisure time on your own in Aswan.

Day 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu
  • Start your day with breakfast served on board your cruise ship. Afterwards, join your expert Egyptologist guide for a visit to the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the worship of the two gods, Sobek and Haroeris.
  • Return to your ship for a leisurely lunch on the sun deck while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Nile and its unique landscape. In the afternoon, experience a scenic chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your cruise ship, where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure.

  • Next, visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural masterpiece carved entirely into the mountainside. Your tour concludes with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, the impressive statues of King Amenhotep III.

  • Continue to the Temple of Luxor, originally built by a king of the 12th dynasty and later completed by the renowned Pharaoh Ramses II. After completing your tour, you will be transferred by private air-conditioned van to your desired location in Luxor, where our services conclude.

Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor 
  • Upon arrival at Luxor Airport or train station, our representative will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Embarkation is available before 12:00 PM.
  • In the afternoon, explore the East Bank of Luxor, starting with the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex—one of the largest structures ever built in human history. Its main temple is dedicated to the god Amun Ra, regarded as the earthly house of the god. While most of the structures date back to the Middle Kingdom, some sources suggest origins as early as the 3rd dynasty.
  • Next, visit the Temple of Luxor, located in the heart of ancient Thebes. Originally built by a king of the 12th dynasty and later completed by the famous Pharaoh Ramses II, this temple was also dedicated to the chief god Amun Ra.

  • Next, enjoy a scenic motorboat ride along the Nile to Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae. This beautiful temple, constructed during the Graeco-Roman period, was dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of Horus.
  • Finally, explore one of Aswan’s most remarkable sights, the Unfinished Obelisk, carved from red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After the tour, return to your cruise ship for lunch, followed by afternoon tea on board.

Day 5: Disembarkation from cruise - Departure to Cairo
  • After breakfast on board, check out from your cruise. Our representative will accompany you to Aswan Airport or train station for your onward flight to Cairo.
  • Optional Tour: Abu Simbel Excursion
    For those choosing the optional tour, you will be met by our English-speaking guide in Aswan and transferred by private air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel, located 180 miles south of the First Cataract on the western bank of the Nile in ancient Nubia. This site, known as Meha in ancient times, was first documented during the 18th Dynasty, when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels carved into the hills.
  • Upon arrival, explore the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, built by the legendary Pharaoh Ramses II. The larger temple, known as the Great Temple, was dedicated to the god Ra-Horakhty, while the smaller temple was dedicated to Ramses II himself and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.
  • After completing the tour, return to Aswan by private van. From here, you will either be transferred to your chosen hotel in Aswan to check in, rest, and refresh, or proceed directly to Aswan Airport to catch your domestic flight to Cairo.
