King Tut Ankh Amun one of the Pharaohs of the 18th dynasty (1334-1325 bc),he considered one of the most famous king of the new kingdom kings ,not because of his achievements and his battles but because his which was the only tomb found intact in the valley of the kings. Tut Ankh Amun ruled Egypt when he was 10 years old (he died 19 years old), the name Tut Ankh Amun means (the living image of god Amun),his first name was Tut Ankh Atun which belong to his father king Akhenaten (Amenhotep 4th),the only king who believed in one god ,when he ruled Egypt he married his half sister (Ankhesenpaaten),during his life there were tow powerful advisers (Hormoheb and Ay),King Tut ended the worship of god Atun and restored the temples of god Amun which destroyed during his father and the capital Luxor back again to be the capital of Egypt and the city of his father abandoned ,all this happened during the third year of his rule.The country was economically weak and the diplomatic relation with the other countries was neglected during his father rule but he fixed these relation.Tut Ankh Amun was roughly 180 cm tall and slight build .Many studies have been worked to know the reason of his death some of them said that he was assassinated, and the other said he was accidental.

The last discovery proved that he died by malaria ,( this last discovery done by mr Zahi Hawas),the head of Egyptian supreme council of antiquity,.Tut Ankh Amun was buried inside his tomb in the Vally of the kings ,and his tomb was discovered on fourth of Nonmember 1922 by British archaeologist (Howard Carter),more than 20 years he was looking for this grave and he was using his artistic talents to copy wall scenes and inscriptions ,in 1899 he was appointed the inspector-General of monument in upper Egypt.Carter and his sponsor lord Carnarvon began excavating in the Vally of the kings ,after 5 years of searching in the Vally of the Kings they stopped the work because all the tombs they founded wes already stollen by tombs robbers ,but the Egyptian workers insisted to continue the work so he decided to complete ,and they decided to dig in another part in the Vally ,the work feverishly continued till fourth of November when one of the workers found a sep so Carter asked them to complete digging and they found 12 steps ,and these steps ended by unfinished entrance ,first they thought its empty tomb like the others but they surprised by the most intact tomb in this Vally,and that discovery is the most important discovery in history.more than 5000 pieces discovered in this tomb and most of these pieces now its in Cairo museum.
